How to download & set up MobileTracking

A clear, step-by-step walkthrough to get MobileTracking installed and syncing in under ten minutes. You only need one-time access to the target device.

Before you start

Installation takes a few minutes and one-time physical access to the phone. Have the target device charged and unlocked, and keep your MobileTracking account login handy so you can sign in once the app is installed.

Choose your plan

Pick the plan with the features you need on our pricing page and create your account. You'll receive your dashboard login by email.

Prepare the target device

Make sure you have the target phone in hand, that it's charged, and that you can unlock it. Installation requires one-time physical access.

Allow installation from the browser

On Android, enable installation of apps from your browser or unknown sources in Settings. Our guide shows the exact path for your Android version.

Download and install the app

Open the download link from this site on the target phone, install the app, and grant the permissions it requests so each feature can work.

Sign in and configure

Sign in on the device with your account, choose which features to enable, and confirm the app is running. It then works quietly in the background.

Open your dashboard

Log in to your control panel from any browser. Data begins syncing within minutes, and from now on you monitor everything remotely.

After installation

Once the app is running, everything happens from your dashboard. Log in from any browser to see messages, calls, location and app activity as it syncs. You can adjust which features are active, set up geofences and blocking rules, and export records, all without touching the phone again.

Do I have to root or jailbreak the phone?
No for most features. Basic monitoring works without rooting or jailbreaking. A few advanced features may require additional permissions, which the guide explains clearly.
What permissions does the app need?
The app requests the permissions each enabled feature requires, for example location access for GPS tracking. Granting them during setup ensures everything works reliably.
How discreet is the app after installation?
The app is designed to run quietly in the background without interfering with normal phone use, so the device behaves exactly as usual.
What if installation fails partway through?
