Why a keylogger sees what other features can't

Most monitoring features capture finished actions — a sent message, a saved photo, a completed call. A keylogger works one level earlier, at the moment of typing, which means it can catch things that never become a saved record at all: a search that's typed and then cleared, a message drafted and deleted, or text entered into an app that hides its own content. Records that survive deletion

Keystrokes are logged as they're typed and uploaded to your dashboard, so the record exists even if the message or search is never sent or is deleted afterwards. This is one of the biggest advantages of an off-device record: what's on your dashboard doesn't depend on what the phone chooses to keep. In normal use the captured history is far more complete than anything visible on the device itself, though very long offline periods or aggressive battery settings can occasionally cause a gap, and we're always upfront about that.
